What I mean is:
I wish to execute a line of code like:
dbaccess -Sservername -Uusername -Ppassword -Finputsqlfile -Ooutputfile
This would run on the Sun platform (where our informix db is) and allow
technicians
and testers to manually collect data from the database or allow a 'cron'
job to log db
activity on a regular basis. Of course the input & output could be
piped...
Is this possible? If so, where can I find the command line parameters
for dbaccess?
