DNS, Internet and Informix

I have a very interesting Problem: I've got a *small* Informix Server 7.23.TC14 under NT4.0 SP4 running in a small LAN. This Lan has an Internet Connection and uses the DNS-Servers of the local Provider. If DNS is konfigured all queries take a lot of time, if DNS is deactivated, everything is ok. I think, because the external DNS - Server doesnt know the Hostname of this Machine, WinNT is waiting for a timeout before it looks in the \\%WINNT%\\system32\\drivers\\etc\\hosts. Somebody else a Problem like this ? any Ideas ? TIA Cris
