Calling set_count from within the INPUT ARRAY statement??
Posted in 1995
I need to be able to alter the number of filled rows in a program array while inside the INPUT ARRAY. The reason for this is that I have a scrolling text entry window (implemented via an INPUT ARRAY) that the user would like to be able to "load" from a text file (for those "vi" types...like a :r command). I can get my program array loaded properly and even re-display so the screen looks correct, but when the user then tries to move around in the screen array things go nuts. It seems that even though I call set_count() (with the new number of filled rows) from within the INPUT ARRAY it does nothing (or at least not what it should).
