I does have a bug which I run into every 3 or 4 months (my time is coming up again). I don't remember the bug # but I did post here about 2 months ago. It has to do with the secondary not finding the checkpoint entry in the primary's logical logs when it's sync'ing up from disk. So it just basically hangs, which in turn hangs the primary (I don't know why maybe Informix can shed some light here). The only thing to do is to bring down the secondary and reinitialize DR. This is under on-line 7.11UC1. The last time I spoke with Informix they said that they weren't able to reproduce the bug under 7.12, which is not the same as saying that they fixed it!
