OK, I too sniffed glue as a child and hence I have a warped perception
of what should be documented.
I think Dave's point is that some of the stuff is there to help the
internals people solve some bugs, but has no revelance in the *real*
world.
Personally I would prefer to have a *BUG* Free and working product,
rather than some esoteric crypted message over documented.
I mean, with what is documented, you should be able to tweak
enough from the engine. I think that if you need that extra
1/10 of 1% performance gain, then U B in trouble.
Think of it as a problem facing fighter pilots in the 80's. Too much
information is a BAD thing.
