I don't know what it could be. If it happens every time you execute the procedure - it seems to me like a bug in Informix server. Try to isolate by exclusion (or just modify the alarm program to dump in the af.* file the current SQL statement, session) the statement that brings the server to this error. I think I've heard (or read) something about shared memory settings for Informix on NT, but I'm not sure what and where. So, may be you should try to play with shared memory settings (but I have doubts about this).
