Forgiveness granted. Nevetheless, yours and other spammers must mend your ways. If you don't, I will seek that my ISP filters out everything emanating from aerotek.com. That should fix your wagon. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Tue, 01 Oct 1996 09:49:58 -0400 From: Jeff Clowser <jclowser@aerotek.com> To: "Samuel J. Um, you should realize that I am only the postmaster - I cannot absolutely control how one out of thousands of users (mis)configure their netscape clients. You should truly learn a little netiquette yourself, then you would obviously know that I can't do anything about this until I've found out about it, and the first you or anyone has informed me of this was today. There's no way I can monitor all newsgroups. Now that I know about it, I will take all possible steps to correct this. What this person did was 100% wrong. You attempting to take it out on me is also 100% wrong. I realize what this user did was extremely annoying and inappropriate, and I will go as far as shutting down our news server until I resolve this, if necessary, but a polite message the first time this happens would be MUCH more effective than you being as much of a jerk as you are calling this user. Thanks, Jeff Clowser
