Indeed. I'm afraid that this disparity in functionality is one of the
reasons we are also considering strongly considering a move to MS
SQL-Server. Informix's great weakness is their castrated SPL--at
least compared to SQL-Server. It is truly unfortunate, as they have a
very powerful engine.
