Folks, Can Innovator-C Edition be used in a production environment free of cost?. Is there any hidden License issues in its usage. ? Is there also a need to sign an " IBM Passport Advantage program " before using the product in a Production Environment? Any Inputs would be helpful, since we plan to port one of our IDS 10 database to Innovator-C after testing. Thanks in advance, Sunil

Informix Innovator Edition is free for any use at all except distribution. If you want to distribute Innovator Edition with your product, for example, to other companies, then you need a distribution agreement with IBM. You can optionally pay for IBM support, but that is not mandatory. Of course, if the system you are porting is in any way critical, I would recommend purchasing support, but that's up to you. You do not need a PA agreement just for Innovator, no. Art Art S.
