Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I was just commenting on this to a colleague here.
He said:
... So WGE can not be installed on a box with more than 4 cpu. (my note: 2
cpus for IDS 7 & 9, 4 cpus for 10.xx) no support for LPAR etc. WGE supports
fragmentation. Wow!!!, that means a table can grow as big as possible.
I said:
No limit on the data, right. The idea was that your DB could grow until
your business was big enough to warrant buying IDS Enterprise Edition so
allowing fragmentation leads into that while allowing customers to delay the
decision until the hardware just can't handle it anymore.
I'll add here:
Providing just what the customer needs and no more but providing a painless
path to full IDS Enterprise Edition performance when needed. What a unique
and powerful selling tool!
