HDR and Similar Hardware

We are currently running IDS 9.4 HP-UX 11i on an old HP K250 Server. We are purchasing a new HP9000 - rx2600 Itanium2 Server which will also be running 11i. By any chance, has anyone out there tried to run HDR on these two servers and know if they are similar enough to allow HDR to work? Thank you in advance.

The servers in a HDR pair need to be running the same binaries. Unless you are confident that the K250 (which is a PA-RISC box, I think) and the rx2600 can both run the same - necessarily PA-RISC - binary, you have no chance.
