Upgrade Informix & risc

We have the following we will be moving to ibm rs6000 c10 aix 4.2.1 ibm rs6000 f50 aix 4.3 informix 4gl rds 4.16.uc1 r4gl rds 4.20.uc2 sql 4.16.uc1 sql 4.20.uc2 se 5.07.uc1 se 5.10.uc1 r4gl id 4.16.uc1 r4gl id 4.20.uc2 I would appreciate any insite/suggestions on moving the informix database to the new machine. can i backup tables and restore on the new machine? must i dbunload/dbload? need i recompile on new box? any help would be appreciated.
