KAIO on HP UX 10.20

Dear All, Running 7.23UC6 on HP 10.20 we so far have found KAIO to be slower than using AIO VPs. For example: KAIO AIO VP update statistics 4h30 2hr30create indexes 11hr 9hr But does anyone have any experience with this under heavy user OLTP type load? We have approx 700-800 concurrent users.
