RE: Changing ownership

Some people advise against the following SQL, but it has worked for me in a non-production. I would never feel very good about doing this in a production environment unless dropping the table and recreating it was totally and completely out of the question (because you're screwing with the systables). However, if you are between a rock and a hard place, do a "feelgood" level zero archive before you do this: Update informix.systables set owner = '{newowner}' where tabname={tabname}; Also do a search on Deja News through c.d.i for the subject of "Changing table owner" for some more info.
