Using values from CONSTRUCT

Hi, you Informix gurus out there, Let's see if anyone could help me with this one. I have a CONSTRUCT, and I need to right justify the value of one of the fields prior to the user presses ACCEPT. It goes something like this: +--- char(6) | v CONSTRUCT BY NAME char_var ON table.col1, table.col2, ..., table.coln AFTER FIELD col1 Get the value of col1 Justify it to the right Display col1 justified ... END CONSTRUCT After this, char_var should look like: col1=" 1" ... I need this trick, because the values of the column in question (in real life a customer number) are inserted into the table rigth justified (to be ordered).
