Please Help: ISQL and Upper Case

Is there any built in function in ISQL like the 4gl UPSHIFT function? I want to do something like: Select UpShift(tool_desc) from "informix".tool so if the tool_desc in the database is: Big Hammer the result of the query will be: BIG HAMMER This seems like it should be a built-in function.
