AW: onlog and onbar
Posted in 2008
Hi.
My Informix support found a bug report:
CUSTOMER-REPORTED BUGS FIXED IN 10.00.UC1
bug_number 115798
description onbar -P needs to be provided officially for our customers
because there is no way to view the logs backuped by onbar like onlog for
ontape
So, onbar -P definitively doesn't work in 9.40. Because also onlog doesn't
work with onbar or a Storage Manager there is no way to see Logical Log
Files no longer on disk with 9.40 on stdout.
>From version 10.0 it should work, e.g. onbar -P -n 2 -l -q -b -u "informix"
-t 1048722 -x 1 (see manual backup and restore).
Just for info.
Reinhard.
