DOS INFORMIX 4.10 help needed...

I feel the problem I been having with DOS is related to adding 2 decimals(16,2) from within a screen's instruction section. I can duplicate the problem by adding the below table and screen and trying to add records. The error message is: DOS/16M [35] General Protection Fault at 01D8:0AB4 in PISQL.EXE code=0000 ss=0548 ds=0548 es=0100 ax=0D10 bx=0D10 cx=00FF dx=0100 sp=BC22 bp=BC64 si=0004 di=0000 and I'm kicked out of the DOS engine. I figured out that 'pstartsql -t' allows me to force the SQL engine to close, allowing me to re-start the engine without having to re-boot my system. Is there anyone else that has DOS 4.10.DC1 that can run the below form and add records (10+) without getting kicked out of the engine? NOTE: If I take the same table, screen and incorporate my own add_dec() function, pass tag f000 and f001 to it, convert the decimal to a double, add the 2 variables, convert the double to a decimal and return the decimal to tag f003, my problem goes away.
