I'm having a problem with an IDS 7.31.UD1 instance failing with the following: Fri May 2 09:25:29 2008 09:25:29 Assert Failed: No Exception Handler 09:25:29 Informix Dynamic Server Version 7.31.UD1 09:25:29 Who: Session(0, @, 0, 0) Thread(0, , 0, 3) File: mtex.c Line: 446 09:25:29 Results: Exception Caught. Type: MT_EX_OS, Context: mem 09:25:29 Action: Action: %s 3: 3: cannot open 09:25:30 See Also: /af.3cff9 09:25:30 mtex.c, line 446, thread 0, proc id 4779, No Exception Handler. 09:25:30 (0) Not true: 09:25:30 (0) Not true: IDS is running on a Sparc / Solaris 9 system, the insert which causes the failure is running from an ESQL application running on a Solaris 10 node (but built on sol 9). Other inserts in the app work fine, the one in question inserts some 65 columns. This ESQL app runs fine from a Solaris 9 node. My suspicion is that it's something to do with the Solaris 10 TCP stack which has a number of issues - anyone seen this before?
