Performance Issue

Hello everyone... We are running OnLine 7.20.UC3 on a DEC Alpha and I-NET for Windows version 5.01.WJ2. It takes a full minute to save a record (from the front-end application) the very first time. Any subsequent save after the first time only takes seconds. We just can't seem to figure out why it takes so long to save a record the first time around.
