It's been over a year since I wrote anything with Informix and it was Standard Engine (has it changed since then?) But ..... Write an insert trigger on the table in question which calls a stored procedure that is passed the serial or rowid value. The values passed to the stored procedure can then be set as globals and are therefore accessable. This was the only way we could see to do it. Xu Wenwei wrote: > 1.
