Informix User Group Colorado - New Era Day

The December meeting is our NewEra 2.0 extravaganza. You will not only have the opportunity to receive some FREE NewEra training, you will have the opportunity to get NewEra 2.0 information directly from the NewEra Product Line Manager AND he is very interested in getting feedback on the NewEra product line and wants to know what YOU want to see in this product. FREE 4gl to NewEra migration tools and a how to migrate document will also be available to attendees. 8:00am - Sign-in, Coffee & Donuts 8:30am - FREE NewEra 2.0 Training session, Part I 11:30am - Lunch (on your own) 1:00pm - FREE NewEra 2.0 Training session, Part II 2:30pm - The NewEra Product Line and Your Feedback Between 8:30am and 2:30pm, you will have the opportunity to receive training in the newly released NewEra 2.0 product. We are having a surprise Informix 2.0 expert guest to go through with us in detail topics such as converting from 4GL to NewEra, creating applications with NewEra, and to answer your questions. At 2:30pm, Bill Hedge will talk to us about the differences between the previous versions of NewEra and the 2.0 product and about what is planned for the NewEra 3.0 product as well. Bill is very interested in collecting feedback from users so he can take that information back to NewEra development headquarters and make NewEra into an even better product. Bill Hedge is the Informix Product Line Manager for Advanced Development Tools - which includes NewEra. One of Informix's original employees, Bill Hedge has worked at many assignments within the company since its founding, including development work on th ACE report writing language, the Application Language Library and INFORMIX-4GL/RF products. He is now product line manager for INFORMIX-4GL, INFORMIX-NewEra and all their derivative products.
