I am just being told from our 3rd party that developed the software that they are still using the 7.2 tools because of too many bugs in the 7.3 release. But they obviously don't have any recent installs if they keep using 7.2. We took over the source for mods and fixes. We don't consider ourselves a guru Informix shop. The IPv6 is a BIG issue and supprise that I was not awareof. Our DB and application are on different servers. I was not a postion to upgrade our distribution apps that are SCO 7.2RDS on Solaris 7 IDS 7.3. Will they be able to talk to an Informix 9.4 engine running on Solaris 9?
