PDQ & WorkGroup Server 7.3 UC5

Does anyone know if PDQ works in Workgroup server? I cant seem to get more than one thread for a query which uses an index that is fragmented over 3 dbspaces. I have read that PDQ will only generate 1 thread on early versions of WG, but thought that this had changed in 7.3. onstat -g mgm tells me that only one thread is being used. Any insight appreciated.
