RE: Errors 25506 and 25529

At a first guess I would look at PCB structure overflows. You should be able to see if this is occurring by looking at /var/adm/messages. PCBs handle the inboard connections for the tcp and there is a finite number. One of the netstat options (-m I think) will give the information as well. ---------- From: Ken Roush To: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Errors 25506 and 25529 Date: 23 February 1999 19:45 Can anyone give me a clue as to what may be causing the following errors: 25529 The sqlexecd daemon cannot get a host structure.: System error: Connection refused 25506 The sqlexecd daemon cannot accept a connection on the socket.: Connection refused I get these errors sporatically. Sometimes, subsequent connections are accepted. Other times I have to re-boot the server to clear the problem. I'm running On-Line 5.0 in a SCO Rel3.2v4.2 environment, with I-Star 5.0 The connections are coming from PowerBuilder 5.0 and 6.x applications.
