Method 1:
From within dbaccess:
select tabtype from systables where tabname ='NAME-OF-YOUR-TABLE-IN-QUESTION';
Method 2:
From UNIX command prompt
dbschema -d YOUR_DATABASENAME -t NAME-OF-YOUR-TABLE-IN-QUESTIONOUTPUTFILENAME
more OUTPUTFILENAME
