Re: SQL Ver2.10 to Ver6.0 using user() (userfuncs) in Form
Posted in 1995
I am converting from ISQL Ver. 2.10 to Ver. 6.0. In the 2.10 I was running forms with a user.c function that was supplied with the package. I compiled my form and used a 'uperform -s formname' in the menu to use the function. The user() would input the users name on an update so you could track the use of the database. Well... this does not work in Ver. 6.0. I phoned tech support and found out that I needed to do : 'sformbld formname' 'cperf user.c -o myrunner' To make a short story long this did not work. It seems the C compiler was not purchased with the new machine. I will get the compiler but would like to know if there is a way to do this without the userfuncs option. Thanks for any help...
