Doing limited Archival....
Hi,
I need to backup only certain records from a number of tables in a
database to a tape drive. e.g. let's say I want to backup record B (col2) in
Table 1 as well as those record in Table 2 that reference it e.g. B2.

col1 col2
1 A
2 B
3 C
Table 2
col1 col2
A A2
B B2
1. What's the best method to backup up this? The records contains BLOB (I am
using NT 9.14TC1)
a. unload
b. dbexport / dbimport
c. If I select them and put them in temporary tables in a dbspace and
backup the dbspace and later retrieve them to populate the tables. How do I
go about planning such a route?
