onstat -u shows reads

The tables on our data warehouse have only read access by public. An
onstat -u shows some users that have reads AND some writes, whilemost users only have reads.
Does anyone know what tables these queries would be writing to, and why
not all queries have a write??

Do the temp tables would show up in the sql statement shown in the
onstat -g ses output or somewhere else in the output? If they show inthe sql statement then no temp tables are used.

Last item in the onstat output under heading:
User-created Temp tables :
If none are created, no heading is printed.
