Informix-Online on NT

Has anyone ran into starting Informix Server (Informix-Online on NT). I can start (initilize the Shared memory) from a Dos prompt when I login as user - Informix. But the control is not returned to Dos prompt again. It stops as soon as that window is closed. I can't start it from On-monitor. Has any ran into these problems. If so, what is the work-around.
