regarding logging status of database

hi all , i had created databse with NONE option with dbaccess, now i want to change the logging status. i am using IDS 7.30UC-7A i have tried the following methods set buffered log; error: transaction not avaliable. Is there way to change the logging status of databses from NONE to BUFFERED; if i change in sysdatabases " is_logging to 1" changes the database to unbufferd or buffered logging.? with regards Nagarjuna.K

ondblog -unbuf <database name> Onbar -b -F ( fake 0 Level archive)It should write in the log for database logging. Onstat -m ( to check in the log for database logging information.
