listener-thread Network error

Hello Everybody,
I have a problem with a instance. I´m runing IDS 11.50.FC7 on HP-UX B.11.31
And every five minutes in the online.log put a message like
this:"listener-thread: err = -25582".
Almost of the time appears exactly like this:
12:01:25 listener-thread: err = -25580: oserr = 1: errstr = : System error
occurred in network function.
System error = 1.
However, some other time change a little the message and show:
This
12:11:25 listener-thread: err = -25582: oserr = 0: errstr = : Network
connection is broken.
Or this
11:11:25 listener-thread: err = -25582: oserr = 22: errstr = : Network
connection is broken.
System error = 22.
I have attempted to use "netstat -na" and "onstat -g ntt" to try to find some
error, but I cannot find any.
Has anyone else experienced these errors ?
How many open file descriptors did you configure on your system?
How does it compare to your number of connections?
Regards.

Those are attempts to connect to the Informix engine by processes not using
the proper protocols. Sometimes it is legitimate clients who are
encountering network problems, but more often it is a port scan, either
internal by your network security folk validating ports or external by
someone trying to get into your systems.

In this moment I have:
onstat -u:101 active, 256 total, 149 maximum concurrent
and into the onconfig i have:
NETTYPE soctcp,4,50,CPU
It can have 200 users and always the users are betwen 100-150 no more

NETTYPE soctcp,4,50,CPU is no nouse
NETTYPE soctcp,4,50,NETinstead
This change might be all you need to get rid of the errors .
If not try setting FASTPOLL 1 in the $ONCONFIG file .
FASTPOLL enables a new way of polling (presumably faster) , provided
your OS does support it.
