Besides this, the informix On Line daemon sometimes goesw down all of a sudden. There are no system messages issued to the console. The system log just said when the error happens: Process aborted abnormally, pid = xxxx, user =xxxx, us = xxx, flags = 1. When the daemon goes down there are no messages left in the system log regarding this event. Thank you. Alfonso Trevino
