genxml bladelet compilation issue

I am trying to compile genxml bladelet provided by Jacques Roy on AIX running IBM RS6000 and facing some issues. I have not installed DBDK on this machine and first of all do I need DBDK installed?. When I am trying to compile its looking for make include file. Seems like make include file is platform specific and will this file be present after installing DBDK?.
