Hello Paul,
After upgrade from an 9.40 to 9.40xC4W1 or later (W2 ... or xC5) you're required to rebuild
sysmaster, because some SMI schema changed!
$INFORMIXDIR/etc/buildsmi will do the job for you,
BUT: in case you're using onbar, you should first comment out the parts (in its end)
where sysutils database is dropped (!) and recreated too.
Unfortunately there's no direct hint to do so documented anywhere ...
In case you didn't move from an earlier 9.40 to your current FC4W1,
the above probably doesn't apply.
