Hi,
I have a table v_station_info with 1759 rows. I wrote a query as
select count(*) from v_station_info a where exists
(select 1 from v_station_info b where a.col1=b.col1 and a.col2=b.col2
and a.com3=b.col3)
Ideally this should return 1759 rows but its returning some other count. what
could be the reason. There are varchar, datetime and char fileds in the
columns.
Bye.
Run your
query with environment variable NO_SUBQF set (to any value,
before server or client start). If you get a different result set you
probably have hit informix bug 161362. :-(
