You shouldn't have a problem with the OS, during y2k testing on Solaris and AIX we were moving the date all over the place without problems. WRT to Informix you should be OK, but you might get timestamping problems on page, but you'd be very unlucky to see this. If you are syncing to the ntp server regularly then the drift will be only small so you should be OK. How does HP adjust the time from ntp - as a single leap or a slow drift? If the latter then you won't have a problem.
