How to set the environment to load the ODBC driver ? If the >> > ODBC driver can't >> > be loaded, how it can display the table structures and data ? The process that is trying to connect is lacking the proper environment variables and thus cannot locate anything. If you log-in as the user that the process is running under, you would not be able to connect to the DB. Login as an administrator and add to the Path variable in "System Properties : Environment : System Variables". Make sure you have the Path variable set for the system to include "C:\\Informix;C:\\Informix\\bin" or whatever your path is to the Informix dir. I found it to be useful to log-in as the IUSR_HOSTNAME and run regcopy.exe. I hope this is useful to you.
