Unixware 7.1 crash with Informix 7.30 UC2

Hello! We have the following system: Unixware 7.1.0 Informix IDS 7.30 UC2 The system is working, but the server hangs randomly without reboot (after 30 min to 2 hours), we can only see that the server's monitor flashes. We have read that Informix 7.30 UC6 with HP-UX works fine, can we solve this problem on Unixware also with UC6? We downloaded and installed the unix patches successful. TIA: Nick

Hangs how? Any messages in the Informix message log? Anything written to the CONSOLE device/file? What does onstat -l show? Kagel We use the following configuration, and that is how the crash happend. ==================================================== I. 1. the PC: Pentium 200 Mhz,128 MB RAM, 4 GB SCSI Winchester 2. installation Unixware 7.1.0 - OK. 3. downloading UnixWare 7.1.0 patches - OK. 4. installation IDS 7.30 UC2 ( with all settings from the ../release file ) - OK. 5. nobody uses the server-machine,we can test it ==================================================== II. 1. we are using PowerBuilder 6.5 client applications with IFX-Native driver 2. we have 3,4,5 connections, + we use onperf monitoring - all the programs runs correctly 3. only these applications are running on the server-machine 4. after 20 or 30 or ... minutes the server-machine crashes, the servers screen flashes, the keyboard is locked, you cannot login neither from the client-side, EndOfLife :-) 6. the crash come randomly 5. we tested it on an other machine ( HP LH PLUS SERVER ) other type of memory,cards,winchester,etc...
