Informix-WGS on NT - today value

server : Windows NT 4.0 Informix WGS - 7.12 TC3 client : Gupta V 5.0.2, Inet 5.01 WD1 We are rather confused with strange situation. Our client program runs simple sql command : -- select col from tab where col_date<today result set is empty but there are records complying the clause. We found out that in this case system returns today = 31.12.1899 Trying to run the same select via dbaccess or sqltalk ( gupta client) it returns the proper number of records and of course today value is correct. I have noticed that even ( database created via dbimport) in systables for tabid>99 column created has value 31.12.1899, sys-cataloques are correct. But in databases created via dbaccess created column is correct. Curiosity is that we run aplication for several month without any problems and now it occurs from time to time on different tables but always select with clause using today .
