i am told oracle has a way to take a "frozen snapshot" of a production system - does informix have this capability? when i move production to development, i always get some orphan records and have to do some cleanup of the data - a snaphot of a moment in time should enable me to avoid having to do the cleanup. Thanks in advance! Tom
