Re: Informix jobs

Dear Bob Beaulieu and the whole informix mailing list, [job junk from donna frappier deleted] You say... >First of all, I thought it was illegal to advertise on the internet for >commercial purposes? I cannot advertise my business on the net via the news >feed, so what gives? How about we just let everyone that has something to sell >(service or product) make a posting? Makes cents huh??? Then at the end of your message you have a fairly commercial .sig file. But hey, who am I to be critical. If everybody would just relax and ignore the postings that irritate you, life would be a lot less stressful. The amount of extra email (including this letter) created by these discussions is silly. You also say... [call/email donna about positions] Why not just let 'whoever' send the email and if you don't want to read it, hit 'd', and then go on. It will take the exact same amount of effort to delete the short mail message, as it will to delete the larger. [advertisement for eztravel deleted due to length and point of discussion] ...Now back to out regularly scheduled discussion, then the fetch into the cursor came back with a null. I thought it was just an error, but when I looked at the data, I found all this job information, and an email address to send resumes. So I booked a flight with eztravel and went to the interview. My first question... "Donna, How did you get into my database?" She looked at me, and said, "We have out ways, Ken, we have our ways." I jerked awake in my bed. It was just a dream. No interview, no database, no travel, no email, and of course... no problems. A belated Happy Hanukkah, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. -- ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo o o o o o Ken Hovanes o o You want I should check your o Intergraph Corporation o o tire pressure? o (205) 730-3781 o o o khovanes@ingr.com o o o o ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
