ldap and informix

We have installed openldap1.2.1 on SCO OpenServer 5.0,gdbm as backend. We use ldap to maintain certificates ,so we want to use informix online as backend. But we don't know how to begin to change the backend. Informix is SQL interface, gdbm is key/value oriented(I'm not sure). Any hints or opinions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. These are the two programming interfaces for "C". CLI is essentially the ODBC library for Informix. Art S. Kagel
