Spend a bit more now for a Sun system that can accept additional CPU modules as needed as the best way to improve IDS performance is to add CPUs. The Sun fees for cabinet/server upgrade are high so spending for a more expandable cabinet up front will pay you back with interest later. Art S. Kagel
