Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Benji Long asked whether DB2 help was available on the list. David (smooth1) said he is an IBM Champion for DB2 and Informix and offered to help. Benji, newly responsible for about 8 DB2 instances, asked where to find the forum and for documentation on growing tablespaces. No answer was given in the thread.

Hi, a few months ago, I saw a post on here that mentioned DB2 help as well on
here, but I can't find the post or anything about that.
Is that available here or am I out to lunch? :)

I am IBM Champion for DB2 as well as Informix and run the UK DB2 LUW Usergroup
as well as being on the board for the UK Informix Usergroup.
Do you have some questions?

Hi David. Where do I find that forum?
I have some basic questions. We took over about 8 DB2 Instances, and I have
been told that I am the lucky one who needs to learn how to do one thing
mostly other than basic monitoring of space.
When a tablespace gets low, I will need to fix this.
Can you point me in the direction of some documentation on this and give me
some advice on to what I should be looking up?
I don't know anything about these tablespaces. Ie, not sure if I would be
making tablespaces larger, or adding files to a tablespace or how they work.
Just trying to start the learning process.
