tbcheck problem
We are running Informix 5.14 on an IBM rs6000 under AIX. We have been
having a problem with tbcheck of the blob space. We have three full chunks
and one only partially filled.
I forced everyone off the system (quiescent mode) and tried
tbcheck -pB. I get...
$ tbcheck -pB database:table
BLOBSpace Report for database:owner.table
sort: Write error while sorting.

...after about 2 hours of running!
ls -l /tmp shows:
-rw-rw---- 1 informix informix 18625963 Apr 20 11:48 14946.blobuse
/tmp has about 100,000,000 allocation, so there is plenty of space.
(three times the above size of 18,000,000 was recommended and we have
five times.)
There is no 14946.BLOBUSE file!
Any thoughts??? Anyone else encounter problems with tbcheck?
