Yes, but as I doesn't allow opening two databases at the same time, you'll have to do some heavy switchin' around ... in one of the older issues of the Informix Tech Notes I think they had an article about how to transfer data between two tables in two databases (even with chaning between SE and Online). Depending on how much you need to do in either database, you should consider unloading the data and loading it into a temporary table in the other database ... or either make sure you do appropriate caching in order not to have to switch the database with each access ...
