We had a problem with a conflict of file locking; if the C-ISAM program opened the file SunAccount claimed the whole file was locked and vice versa. We now maintain a copy of the information we need in OnLine and synchronize the two overnight using hash values to deterrmine where things have changes. We had to sort out the numeric fields in order to make the extracts. I don't have code to hand but I could find it and post it if this will help you. Ian
