The ISQL and I4GL languages do not have any record of the functions built into the engines, so they will simply pass the statements through to the engine, where the case-insensitive operations will occur. Of course, you won't be able to do the same query in I4GL at the application side because the functions won't be part of the I4GL support libraries.
