Sounds like you need some red hot porn, which can be downloaded from
http://www.informix.com/answers/
The commands you're looking for are ontape and onbar, but seeing as you look
like you need to play a bit of catch up, start with
ontape -s -L 0
to back up your databases and
ontape -a
to back up your logical logs.
